We are currently seeking a suitably experienced person to join our team on a fixed term contract basis (Maternity Leave cover).

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is a senior finance leadership role with a dual mandate: to lead the national NDIS billing and funding function while driving a structured finance transformation agenda across the organisation.

About the role - Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead a national process standardisation program across all state-based billing and funding teams
• Map current-state workflows, design and implement improved future-state processes
• Drive adoption of standardised templates and documentation practices across all locations
• Identify and scope integration opportunities to reduce manual data handling
• Provide insight into month-end results and analyse NDIA Portal invoicing outcomes
• Provide national oversight of all NDIS funding processes, including alignment of support shifts to available participant funding
• Lead, coach, and develop a national team of NDIS Finance Officers
• Ensure all billing and funding activities comply with NDIA guidelines, relevant legislation, and organisational policy

You will bring

• Significant experience in a senior NDIS finance role with deep knowledge of NDIS funding models, NDIA Portal processes, and billing compliance
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading finance transformation, process improvement, or systems implementation projects
• Proficiency in Netsuite or similar accounting software; familiarity with CRM systems and data integration concepts
• Experience with SIL funding management and Individual Support Packages (ISP)
• Strong leadership and consultation capabilities, with the ability to support and build team capability
