We are currently looking for suitably skilled and experienced Disability Support Workers in the Ringwood area, who are available to work shifts on Tuesdays 9:30am – 2:30pm and Saturdays 9:30am – 4:30pm.

How will I help? 

These shifts will involve supporting our client with community access and transport, manual handling including support with a manual wheelchair and household domestic tasks.

What do I need? 

• Proven experience in a similar Disability Support Worker role
• Experience and confidence working with and managing behaviours
• Experience in complex needs, seizure and medications management
• The ability to easily connect and engage, with a fun personality
• Excellent communication skills, compassionate and positive attitude
• Recognised relevant qualifications
• A registered, insured car large enough to fit a wheelchair, and driver’s licence
