About the opportunity:

Join our ever-growing team at SACARE as a Authorised Reporting and Feedback Officer! We are currently on the lookout for experienced quality superstars to work out of our Head Office in Broadview.   

The Authorised Reporting Officer/ National Feedback Officer is responsible for: 

 

  • The coordination of information for the purposes of behaviour support planning and the reporting of restrictive practices
  • Conducting thorough investigations into complaints, maintaining a fair and transparent process, and contributing to improved service delivery. 

 

This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of service quality, compliance with NDIS regulations, and fostering a culture of collaboration. Requiring communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to upholding legislative requirements, Authorised Reporting and Feedback Officer role functions as a means of fostering trust and transparency between ONCALL SACARE and the community we serve. 

 

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will be passionate and committed to providing a client-centered and individualised intensive care approach. Ideally, you will also be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a genuine, compassionate nature and a commitment to engage with our culture and the values ONCALL SACARE live and breathe.

  • Tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s degree or higher) in Disability, Community Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related discipline
  • Experience within the disability sector or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working with people who present with complex behaviour and support needs
  • Previous experience working with multiple external stakeholders
  • A background in providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, including the management of complaints, service, and practice issues.
  • Excellent understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme and the legislative requirements related to behaviour support and restrictive practices (Module 2 and 2a of the NDIS Practice Standards)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the positive behaviour support framework and a commitment to implementation of the least restrictive option for ONCALL SACARE customers.

 

Essential:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a drive to improve the quality of life for our participants.
  • Ability to work autonomously in a complex environment with multiple demands and tight timelines.
  • Understanding and experience of NDIS and other disability funding bodies.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening & Working with Children check
  • Current and unrestricted South Australian Driver's License
